Fujitsu's Imaging Products Group Presents Laserfiche with Quarterly Innovative Leadership Award

Award Presented To LaserFiche for City of Wichita Installation

 

San Jose, CA, July 09, 2002 — Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (FCPA), a market leader in document imaging scanners and scanner maintenance, today announced that LaserFiche Document Imaging was presented the 1Q02 quarterly "Innovative Leadership Award" at a private ceremony in Long Beach, California, by FCPA's Imaging Sales Group. The award recognizes LaserFiche for its unique document management installation for the City of Wichita.

LaserFiche, a worldwide document management software company with 18,000 installations, and FCPA have established a thriving and growing relationship committed to providing the industry with innovative document imaging products and programs.

 

The relationship with the City of Wichita began four years ago after LaserFiche Regional Manager Bill Bixby and Value Added Reseller (VAR) Milton Konstantindis, Galaxie Business Equipment, worked together to win a governmental public safety grant to begin a document management program for the city of Wichita. The company's installation quickly established a successful track record and continued in other city hall departments including, the police department, municipal court, the city clerk's office, the water department, risk management, pension, and finance and IT departments.
